Well, we could simply mark our version as only compatible with Android
2.0+. ;-p

Well, suggestions for another name which makes it obvious it's unofficial
welcome. :-) But I wouldn't want us to get bug reports for my likely-broken
builds, and it might be nice to have a way to push experimental stuff like
any input changes etc.

Sure. Annoyingly a *lot* of the cheap unofficial Android tablets don't
actually export their internal storage as an SD card, but I hope we can just
fall back to world-writable application data there, as mentioned by
Marcos Diez in the "Android keys/market account" thread, or whatever.

Well, the native code has to be on the internal storage for at least
some versions of Android, and that is still pretty limited on a lot of
devices (argh), but I am provisionally assuming that the binary doesn't
end up too huge (which is probably wrong, sigh). Bear in mind I have no
idea what I'm talking about, too.
