Well, most of the engines do it that way because Arnaud just copied them ;)

Skipping the comment underneath is probably just as likely to happen.
I really don't care either way, it should just be consistent in the
way we add the original copyright.

Yes. Tinsel also has some weird comments in the bottom of the
copyright header which seem to describe the file.
