Dear Flippos,

Sorry we missed that. I have updated the product page with the following
sentence (Google should update their servers soon ~3 hours):

Uses ScummVM which is protected under GNU-GPL v2. For more information
please visit http://mojo-touch.com/gpl

Please note that:

A. We much appreciate ScummVM team and your awesome work. Because of that we
gave ScummVM really great credits inside the game (About screen) – as you
can see in the screenshot below. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen anyone else
that uses ScummVM code do that.

B. As said, will be happy to give free download to anyone on ScummVM team so
you can give feedbacks on the credits or the game.

C. Our release includes a lot of changes and additions to ScummVM (really a
lot of work), as you can see for yourself if you compare the code to ScummVM
Android port.

D. When you develop something using code protected by GPL – you still
“developed it”.

Just to make this a bit clearer: I would like mojotouch to include a clause
like "based on ScummVM, which is licenced under GPL2" in the software
description, same as what they did with their other games on the app store
(after we told them to do so).

With the current description, it looks as if the whole project has been
developed by them, which is misleading, wrong and unethical.

Regards

Filippos

Well, what clearly annoys me with iphSoft/mojotouch us that they take a GPL
project, use 99.9% of the code and the work done on it and then slap a
disclaimer underneath that the *whole* work has been produced and developed
by *them*.

It's the kind of thing that bugs me to death too, on the other hand I don't
think they are making billions off this scheme.
99% of their potential crowd will simply download ScummVM.
