[Scummvm-devel] ScummVM 1.8.0 release status: branched

Hi Team,

Somehow I did not re-check the schedule and just branched 1.8.0.
Fortunately, it is not tagging, so it is less critical.

However, from now on, master is unfrozen and you have to cherry-pick your
bugfixes to branch-1.8.

The current schedule is the following:

Friday, February 5th: 1.8.0 branched, master unfrozen
Friday, February 19th: 1.8.0 tagged, uploading of platform builds start
Friday, February 26th: Release announcement

Please spend a bit of time for nailing a bug or two.

Also, porters are encouraged to start test-building their ports.
