[Scummvm-devel] Next release “blockers” list

Hi all,

As part of the release process, I went through the complete list of open
tickets in the bug tracker and pulled out *everything* that I could
readily identify as a crash, hang, or memory bug and put them into a
release blockers list at <https://bugs.scummvm.org/report/16>.

I also reviewed and tagged these tickets with keywords indicating what
sort of existing actionable information they have in them, so it is
hopefully easier to review the list and find things that look doable.

I would be very grateful it if anyone could take ownership of a bug or
two (or all of them, whatever!) on the list. This doesn’t mean that
you’re committing to fix the bug, but rather that you will take one step
toward resolving it, whether that means actually fixing it, coming up
with a plan, or just verifying that the bug is still reproducible and
marking it so before unassigning yourself. Taking ownership just gives a
signal to others that a ticket is already being investigated so that
they can find some different one to look at.

It is entirely possible some of these will get pushed to a future
release, though (of course) in the interest of having a nice and stable
next release it would be great to get as many of these cleared as possible.

This is a pretty short list of still-open crashers, so I also want to
say “great work” to everyone so far on making ScummVM nice and stable!

Best,
