Hi Lothar,
Glad you brought it up since it's something I've been working on.
Eugene and I were talking about moving all of the sub-sites to the new
server, and enable HTTPS on them. Some of them, like the forum require an
update.
The forums use phpbb2, and we need to update to phpbb3 and that means
rebuilding the theme from scratch. There's already a theme that's about 80%
that I've continued work on but I've reached a couple conclusions:
* Some of the modifications are spotty (To be honest, phpbb3 markup/css is
a disaster)
* The theme is too faithful to the original theme resulting in loss of
functionality like the inline search, responsive design
I'm looking to see if we can scale down the reskin effort to bring our look
& feel to the baseline phpbb3 theme instead of forcing the old theme into
the new version.
Are there strong feelings towards keeping the current theme as-is?
