[scummvm-devel] ScummVM 2.3.0 proposed schedule

Hi Team,

It has been a while (almost a year in fact) since the last ScummVM release.
The amount of development during this year is astounding.

Initially. I was waiting for HiDPI feature to settle and the Android 3d
backend to get merged, and while the former is seems to be almost OK, the
latter is not yet happening.

Thus, after a brief discussion with the co-leads, we decided to go proceed
with the release.

Hence, here is the request to comment on the proposed schedule:

August 14 (Sat): Release testing announced, feature freeze in master
August 28 (Sat): Release branch created, master unfrozen
September 17 (Fri): Release tagged, porters asked to submit their builds
September 27th (Mon): Release

The feature freeze means that only bugfixes are allowed during those 2
weeks (it does not apply to the disabled engines and ports, those stay
unfrozen).

I plan to start looking through the buglist today and prioritize the
blockers and nice-to-get-fixed bugs.
