[scummvm-devel] ScummVM 2.6.0: Release progress update

Hi all,

a whole week has passed since the last update regarding the current
release cycle.

As a quick reminder, this is our current release schedule:

    July 08 (Friday): Hard-freeze of branch-2-6, allowing only emergency
bugfixes
    July 16 (Saturday): Final branch 2-6-0 created, *release tagged*,
porters start submitting builds
    August 01 (Monday): Public release

The release cycle is progressing well - thanks to everyone working so
hard on making ScummVM 2.6.0 (another) great release.

Since the last update, the number of bugs that are in scope for the next
release went down to *24.

Currently, the following bugs are open - it would be nice to have as
many of them fixed during this release cycle:

*Non-engine bugs:
*#12329     BACKENDS: IOS: MP3 playback failing, libmad writing out of
bounds
#11753     BACKENDS: ANDROID (10+ / API 29+) - external storage is no
longer browsable
#12032     BACKENDS: SDL: cursor drifting for game controller
#12719     BACKENDS: 3DS: ScummVM is crashing on startup in Pajama3
#12775     BASE: The -g / --gfx-mode command-line option still handles
the old scaler names
#11244     CLOUD: Crash when loading a save from the launcher
#13470     COMMON: Data format issues when reading and writing doubles
from file streams
#13567     COMMON: Crash when clicking "Hide" while downloading icons
#11500     GUI: Pressing escape in the GTK file chooser sometimes closes

speaking to Charlotte Robineaux
#11483     ZVISION: ZGI: Music broke
#11529     CRUISE: Cut-scenes happen too quickly and dialogue cannot be read
#11644     DRAGONS: Splash screen font background too visible
#13512     AGS: Segfault on quitting a game
#12074     TWINE: rendering of the holomap is broken
#12085     TWINE: depth sorting issue for doors
#13348     AGS: QFG2VGA screenshots show chosen elements only
#13227     MYST3: Crash in Voltaic Age - DVD Variant
#13166     TWINE: Black and white palette
#13442     PARALLACTION: Nippon - Donna vanishing when in disguise
#13417     AGS: Can't start a games on BIG-Endian/AmigaOS4 : Unalbe to
load the room file 'room74.crm'.
