Hi all,
we are heading towards our next milestone in this release cycle: The
testing announcement!
Public testing will be announced next week on
Friday, February 3.
The main focus of the testing period will be our new features (e.g. the
shader-based scalers) and newly supported games. Besides that, I think
that games using engines with quite substantial changes are in testing
scope as well - please feel free to send in your suggestions.
The number of open bugs has been reduced - all thanks to your work!
We are currently left with the following bug reports:

> #11753 BACKENDS: ANDROID (10+ / API 29+) - external storage is no longer browsable
> #6008 BACKENDS: Dreamcast - FT/Dig: Crash when subtitles are enabled

- February 3: Public testing announcement, focusing on the new features
- February 13: Tagging date, porters start building their ports
- February 25/26: Public release
