Summary: SIMON: Fix for sound-related crash

Initial Comment:
This patch will make open() fail if the filename is an
empty string. Otherwise it may report success because
it was able to open the directory where it was looking
for the file. At least that's the behaviour under UNIX.
Windows may be different.

In particular, Simon 2 failed to play sound effects,
and eventually crashed, because ScummVM thought it had
found an MP3-encoded effects file.
