Summary: unstability after getting the tar from the dinosaur tar pit

Initial Comment:
When applying the can/golfball retriever on the tar pit, the tar is 
shoved and bound to the cursor immediately, while the user is not in 
control of the characters. The game works after this, but will crash
very shortly after at a random spot.

Same error noted other places in the game too. If an item is retrieved
while the user is not in control, the game will often crash.
