>Summary: different config file behaviour for -w

Initial Comment:
ScummVM 0.5.3cvs (Aug 29 2003 01:53:18)

using windows.

Under certain circumstances the options are written to

the scummvm.ini without '-w' specified.

This happens when I run ScummVM with options, but

without a gameid. The specified options are written to

the [scummvm] section when running a game, but not when

quitting the launcher. This should never happen without

the '-w' option, I think.

On the other hand, when I specify '-w' along with other

options AND a gameid, the options are written to the

[scummvm] AND to the game specific section, where I

think, it should only be written to the game specific

section in that case.

I think a logical behavior would be changing the

[scummvm] section only if '-w' is specified and no

gameid was part of the command line.

Maybe a button in the launcher would be useful as well,

doing the same thing as the '-w' options.

This isn't a bug this a feature request for changed

behaviour, moving.

This shouldn't have been put in the GUI category either.

Whether the current behaviour should be changed is also

debateable
