Initial Comment:
With the attached savegame, if I use the book on
Laverne, Bernard will say "I'll just run to the
Chron-O-John" and then "I waited, but she never picked
it up." The latter message is not drawn correctly.

I've tried this both with the latest CVS snapshot and
with the 0.5.0 branch. (Assuming I checked the latter
one out correctly. :-)
