Summary: Copy Protection Loads When "Disabled"

Initial Comment:
ScummVM 0.4.1 Vanilla (non-CVS)
Windows XP Professional Edition
Monkey Island 1 (VGA)

There's a bit of backstory to this: in 2000, PC Gamer
released a CD which, amongst other things, had a copy
of Monkey Island 1 on it. The copy protection routines
are disabled--starting the game boots directly to the
Lucasgames logo, or at least it's supposed to.

In ScummVM, the Dial-A-Pirate gimmick is popping up,
even though it shouldn't, and it's leaving me in quite a
state (the PCG disc doesn't have the Dial-A-Pirate info).

(Yes, I know there's probably nothing that can be done
without mailing the data files, though I don't know how
that works on a magazine-attached CD like this.)
