Summary: play game from zip file

Initial Comment:
Is it posibble to make Scummvm to read games from 
zipped files or other archive ? 
It will be good for sapce saving if the games are played 
from the harddrive ?.

You know, almost everybody knows how to use winzip these 
days, and pirates can easilly unzip an archive before using 
it's content... I don't think Lucas Arts would see this as a 
problem (but of course, I'm not Lucas Arts, and since they've 
been very quiet lately, I understand you don't want to titillate 
them(lol, I didn't know this word existed in english, thx 
babelfish :D)).

An alternative solution would be to have your own 
compressed file format, using a known compression 
algorythm (why not GZIP or Bzip2) and your onw header. 

And create an utility (like extract for the monster.so3) to 
compress the files...

It's possible, techincally, but we don't want it, as it could be viewed as supporting piracy (it would make getting and using warez versions of the games so much easier).
