Summary: Fallout in the ScummVM
Initial Comment:
I've been thinking a while about that scummVM supports
so many SCUMM- and non-SCUMM-adventures. Because
of that why couldn't you add the support for Fallout &
Fallout II games? I know that this means hard (maybe
VERY hard) work, but I believe that since this is one of
the most supported adventures, so your work should be
easier than "importing" some other titles.
As for me, I'd be glad to help you with anything
regarding this, but unfortunately I don't know C/C++
neither reverse engineering, but if there's anything I can
help you with, just let me know.
Meanwhile here are some (useful) links regarding to this
request:
http://www.nma-fallout.com/ -No Mutants Allowed (a
Fallout fans' site with dozens of useful information, tools
and links)
http://members.chello.at/theodor.lauppert/games/fallout.
htm and fallout2.html -pages related to fallout & fallout2
(with some interesting information regarding the fallout
map editor)
P.S.: If this attempt would be successful, I think that
many of the Fallout fans would be grateful to you.
