in the rotating restaurant, even after having connected the wires 
(and lens) to the binoculars, there is no support for changing the 
speed and direction.  neither the two-button (wireless) mouse or 
built-in touchpad mouse change anything, though a double click of 
the left and right buttons will exit the binocular viewfinder screen.  

trying to get to frog rock, you know...
