I don't know if this is a bug, or simply my monitor.
FOA has the interesting feature that when you're
underground, in darkness, it gradually brightens the
palette to simulate night vision. However, although I
*know* it does this, I cannot actually *see* any
difference. It would be nice if someone could check
with the original how it ought to look.

I'm attaching a savegame near the German dig site.
Simply go underground. Adding debug messages to
darkenPalette() should confirm that it's doing
something to the palette.
