Initial Comment:
This caused ScummVM to stop responding for a little while...but that only happened once. And gameplay continued.

After escaping the Pterodactyl's nest you land in the water and go back to land. Then a musical cue plays and the girl talks to you. The theme that plays here plays much too fast and there's a long silent pause afterwards when it's supposed to loop...after a certain amount of time the song starts up again playing too quickly and loops again after another silent pause. This tells me that a possible explanation might be that it loops at the correct moment but the song plays too quickly to be timed to the loop...or something. I get these messages in the console:
