Game: EcoQuest II: Lost Secret of the Rainforest
Version: Floppy/DOS/English
ScummVM Revision: 53665
Platform: Ubuntu 10.10 32-Bit

This problem existed before and is now marked as fixed. However it remains, but only on top of the ecorder's main menu, once you make a selection the main menu and the initial text both clear.  I have included a save game. Just use the hand icon on the box in front of Adam's Dad and you will see the problem during the ecorder demonstration.
