 The Dreamcast port reads scummvm.ini from the root of the CD, and I have
 verified that it respects autosave_period.  This scummvm.ini will disable
 autosave completely:

 autosave_period=0
 }}}

 I would say this ticket could be closed, though it might be worth
 mentioning the above on the Dreamcast wiki page.  Autosave is somewhat
 intrusive on the Dreamcast because saving to VMU/VMS is slow, limited by
 storage capacity, and requires user intervention.
