 Arithmetic workarounds may either still do the call, or skip the call.

 We need to check the script code and verify what is actually happening.
 In some cases a workaround may make sense. In other cases the script needs
 to get patched.

 The original interpreter simply ate up anything.

 The kernel function is definitely not at fault. It is a script bug in any
 case.
