 This was an issue present in the original assets for Myst / Myst ME:

 I think there is an overlay image for that card for at least the English
 version of ME IIRC.

 dafioram: What exact version do you have? i.e. is the latest 25th
 Anniversary edition or an older Myst ME localisation on CD?
