 At the inn when no one's there, you can still click MOUTH on the hero to
 "Talk about yourself" and get a response from the absent innkeeper.
 "Greet" and "Say Goodbye" also yield a smile and wave from him.

 The generic, "No one seems to be listening," narration would be more
 appropriate.
