 Not saying it isn't, but why does OP's copy have to be pirated? They could
 just as well have done the conversion themselves years ago. Does this mean
 that we removed support for converted Smacker files which we at one point
 were required to support due to licensing? If we really dropped support
 for the old format when we started to support Smacker directly I'd argue
 that this ticket is very valid and things should fail more gracefully, at
 least with a warning message stating that the original files need to be
 re-copied from the source media.
