Comment:

 SXFile::openForWrite() is now implemented at
 https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/pull/1720.
 I have tested it with my Steam version of Alpha Polaris and persistent
 data saved in load menu now works.

 However, note that Alpha Polaris is 2.5D game and this
 SXFile::openForWrite() is one of a few parts that actually works =)
