New description:

 The Fighter/Paladin has two spear contests with Yesufu. The second of
 which has a moving target.

 Even though you hit it with some spears (you have 3 and and so does
 Yesufu), only **the very first hit** (no matter if it was you or Yesufu)
 is actually shown hitting. All other potential 5 spears are shown hanging
 on the wall even they hit the target right in its center.

 The proof that you did hit the target is that you are declared the winner
 even they're shown on the wall.

 I've tried it in the latest Windows 64 build, v2.2.0git4593-gf531eba971
