 At the beginning of the game, when you are wearing the prison suit all
 your animations are slow. When you put on the nurse's uniform you speed up
 again. There is also a black rectangle in the middle of Twinsen's back
 when wearing the prison suit that I don't recognise and may be related to
 the slowdown.
