 I don't know much about QFG3 but that does seem unreasonably fast. There
 are two things that affect his speed: the speed slider and the skill
 slider in the control panel. If you have skill set to maximum, which this
 save game does, then he runs extra fast on top of the normal speed slider.

 Set skill to anything less than max and it's much better. Although it's a
 slider, there are only three settings.

 Leaving this open because it does seem like that max speed needs to be
 tweaked, it doesn't seem like there's time to do anything, but this would
 require QFG3 expertise.
