 The original issue is fixed. And I wasn't expecting clicking on the
 options to actually work so that's also pretty cool. :)

 I did notice however, that if you go two levels deep into the Option menu,
 to Volume settings for example, and then back out using Esc or "Return to
 previous menu" the mouse cursor vanishes. It still works as do the arrow
 keys and clicks. It's just not visible. And it's restored again if you go
 either deeper or higher in the menus.
