 In the menus and conversations logs 2-letter groups are replaced by
 periods, this is not affecting in-game subtitles, options or April's diary
 entries.
 See attached images for comparison between PC and Raspberry Pi 4

 **This issue is happening in ResidualVM for Raspberry Pi 0.4.0git**
 **''sev asked me to report it regardless as it could still be happening on
 ScummVM.''** I cannot validate this on the Raspberry Pi yet as the 3d
 games are not running properly (see ticket #11928)
