 The situation you described is fixed in
 https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/pull/2463 (*)
 However, by reading the code, I expect it to happen also in other
 scenerio(s).
 Therefore, let's keep this issue open, and wait until you'll encounter the
 problem again.
 (and please supply a savegame)

 BTW,
 I haven't played PQ4 for maybe 25 years, so I don't really remember it.
 However, I had to do more things to finish the first day. But it's not
 really important...

 (*) If you prefer, I can upload a compiled version with the fix.
