Hmm, I didn't notice that this incident was closed. I encountered a
similar instance of this occurring in the dungeons. If I enter a dungeon
and move between two rooms that have enemy encounters back-to-back, the
same bug will trigger.
I'm using the April 23 daily build. This can be seen most easily in
Dungeon Hythloth (in Lord British's castle, just start a new game as a
Bard (so you are near Lord British's castle), and use the cheats to get
max stats. (Alt+S, Alt+E, Alt+I, Alt+M) Then go into Hythloth from LB's
castle by walking through the walls and jimmy open the door. Descend all
the way down to the 8th floor, head North through the poison field into
the door to the north-east. Defeat the Dragons and then go to the room to
the west. In this next room all of your party members will have the
"Quickness" bug applied, where they can move anywhere on the map with
impunity before performing an action.
