 The issue is not specifically with the option to always return to the
 launcher when leaving a game. You cannot return to the launcher from the
 GMM either as the director engine currently does not support returning to
 the launcher.

 However the option label could maybe be improved since "Always" is a bit
 misleading (although always refers to the different way you can quit a
 game rather than to the different games).
