 The [https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/SLUDGE SLUDGE Engine] was created
 in 2003 by Tim Furnish, and was used to make a various games including the
 awesome [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Out_of_Order_%28video_game%29 Out
 of Order].

 Since then, [https://github.com/opensludge/opensludge it's source code has
 been released].

 Some work has already been put into supporting the the engine in ScummVM,
 including a GSoC project from 2017, but I don't know the current status of
 that.

 It would be great to have the engine supported again, and be able to play
 games like Out of Order on modern platforms.
