New description:

 Difficult one to diagnose and may not be reproducible, but I think it
 should be on the radar just in case.

 At the endgame encounter with the Countess, you need to select the lit
 cigarette inventory item to use it on her. Selecting objects or attempting
 to talk to Joey fails, because Lauren is being choked, but the cigarette
 is supposed to be selectable.

 I found that it could not be selected except at random and I had to keep
 trying to click on it for it to eventually become usable.
