 Thanks for the report. This is probably caused by a missing CH2VOC.TLK
 file. If I rename or remove that file, then I have exact that same issue.
 Otherwise, I cannot reproduce this. Speech works as it should for me in
 that scene.

 Please check if you have the CH2VOC.TLK file.
