Comment:

 After checking this again with @sluicebox, this is an overflow bug, and
 there's not much that can be done about it. The data is lost, as there
 just isn't enough space to store it. We can't restore lost data, and it's
 impossible to redesign this format, so there's nothing we can do about
 such exported characters.

 Closing as wontfix
