 I don't think this is a bug. In many situations if you click (anywhere,
 not necessarily on a hotspot) you can cancel the in-progress animation and
 (sometimes) make the character walk away. That is the case here:
 - If you click before klayman presses the button, he cancels the action
 and walks away,
 - If you click after he gets hit, the animation is shortened and he
 recovers quickly bypassing the "wood" animation,
 - If you "double click" he completes the same "shortened" animation,
 followed by the normal animation.

 The first animation is complete, after 0:14 you see what happens when
 clicking while the animation is in progress.

 Scummvm behaves in the same way.
