 I finally managed to get to the end of the italian Windows talkie version
 and I can confirm that this old bug still occurs. I attached a savefile.
 Steps to reproduce
 1. Enter the doorway to the right
 2. Use wax ("cera per pavimenti") on Sordid
 3. Let the final cutscene play

 this version uses a single .WAV file.
 The bug does NOT occur on the GOG edition, which uses a .VOC file. The
 savegame is usable on both.
