 Similar issue seems to happen with Hokus Pokus Pink as well (with Book of
 Knowledge of course)

 Interesting lead when checking the book while on intro cutscene,
 when checking the book while the narrator speaks, the animation will
 freeze, and will unfreeze at the end of the spoken sentence.
 when checking the book while the narrator doesn't speak, the cutscene is
 frozen indefinitely (music still plays, until it ends).

 Tested with hebrew version of Hokus Pokus Ping using the latest daily
 build - 2.7.0git2993-g5a13c15a550 (Sep 28 2022)
