 I have found the game very laggy in terms of the main character (Kate)
 movement when left-clicking to move her around.

 If she already walking, any re-clicking makes her run (sometimes in place)
 in a very weird way. Also, when clicking on certain edge-of-screen arrows
 to move to the corresponding rooms, the engine doesn't always recognize
 where the character needs to go, which requires manually moving of the
 character away from the spot, and then re-clicking on the spot.

 Attached a video that demontrates the issues.

 System: Windows 10 (22H2)
 ScummVM version: 2.8.0git3829-gdca58c2cb05-dirty (Apr 14, 2023)
 Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 (latest driver version)
 ScummVM settings are the default ones when adding the game.
