New description:

 Game- The Pink Panther: Passport to Peril (Windows/English)

 Note: this was an autosaved game.
 When Pink arrives in the upper Egypt farming village, the two villains
 block him. I took out the axe from Pink's inventory and clicked on the
 characters to find the path.

 At this point, a message from ScummVM 2.7.0 comes on the game screen.
 Upon typing the 'exit' command, the ScummVM program shuts down. When I
 open the saved game again it still shows the original error window.
 Upon typing the 'help' command, it displays a number of command options. I
 am not sure which command will help me exit from this error window. An
 image of these options is attached below.
