 I am also experiencing this, with the GOG version of the game, running on
 scummvm compiled from the current latest master version
 (a1f6784f3599fc09827c5ce3ab83dbf022c0212b).

 Also, all the in-game text seems to be missing some texture or border or
 something. I have attached images of what the text looks like, vs. what is
 expected.
