 I can't replicate those issues on the current daily build and Windows 11.

 Both updating the icons and connecting to the cloud storage work fine, at
 least I can get through all the callback functions during the cloud
 connection.

 Maybe this was a temporary problem at the certificate registry? Please
 also check if you have any obscure security software running that messes
 with TLS traffic and tries to intercept it.
