 From recent Discord discussion, I suppose this is a non-legit version?
 Referring to the wiki
 https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Private_Eye_(1996) you shouldn't
 have an ASSETS directory at all.

 Furthermore, the "game.dat" detection is a false positive. It gets
 detected as a variant of "Troll's Tale" but, clearly, it has nothing to do
 with that game.
