 This is probably because the French localization was added a bit later to
 the game (in December 2022 according to the Steam page update news)

 Please, could you post the info from the ScummVM console about the
 detection entry about the unknown variant so that we could add it to
 detection? Also please clarify which edition of the game you own (ie. from
 Steam, itch.io, elsewhere?)
