 system?

 I don't think I've noticed such stutter. Especially since you mention that
 the music freezes too.

 Can you try with 2.8.0 (release version) as well?

 If it happens more noticably in a specific scene, or before a specific
 interaction, please provide a save game file just before that, so we can
 test quickly!
