 Hi, thanks for the report!

 The "unknown variant" message is not really an error, it means that your
 game datafiles are a different (most likely, newer) version which was not
 in ScummVM's detection tables at the time of release.
 This is exactly the issue, since many Wadjet games have been updated
 lately (after release 2.8.0).

 The game should work fine with the "fallback" detection, however if you
 want you can download a daily build
 https://buildbot.scummvm.org/#/dailybuilds of version 2.8.1 or 2.9.0 which
 contain the updated entries.
