New description:
This was tested on Windows 10 x64, with ScummVM 2.8.1 and also a recent
ScummVM 2.9.0git developer build.
While playing the game I went to the top dropdown menu and selected the
"?" icon. Then moved the mouse cursor along the various options of the top
menu bar.
This results in a text box being displayed on the center of the main game
screen describing the function of the menu options.
However, if the text box is drawn on top of one of the game's "dynamic"(?)
elements, like Larry or a car or an NPC, it erases the part of them that
the textbox covered. This is especially noticeable if you move the cursor
back and forth on the top menu options, since this results in the textbox
size to be changing due to the different text shown each time.
If the "?" cursor is lowered in the game screen, then the result is that
there's no text box drawn, and the dynamic elements remain cropped.
The screen is however redrawn properly, when exiting the "?" mode.
I am unsure, as of yet, of the behavior of the original on this.
